WELCOME TO ANCHOR CHAIN BOOKS!
Anchor Chain Books is a small
company that specializes in the discovery and publication of
fresh, creative talent in an industry in which it is difficult
for new, unknown writers to gain a foothold. We are primarily
interested in mainstream/literary fiction that
deals seriously with important social, political,
philosophical, and religious issues. This will usually
preclude the genres of adventure, romance, mystery, and science
fiction/science fantasy unless the author has an exciting story to
tell that transends "formula" books common to these
genres.
At the present time, we will limit our books in
print to ten titles at any one time so that we can provide
quality publishing services to our authors.We deal directly with
authors and do not accept inquiries or submissions from agents.
We expect to be accepting query letters for
submitting manuscripts in November 2006.
